Our Story

DuBrick was born from a simple question asked by local kids: "Why isn't there a LEGO store here?" In Dubuque, a community rich with educators, engineers, and creative thinkers, we discovered that LEGO enthusiasts were traveling hours to find quality sets, bulk bricks, and fellow builders to share their passion with.

From John Deere engineers bonding over builds at work to college students finding joy in both advanced mathematics and LEGO creation, we realized our community was full of brilliant minds who shared this common love. Yet they had nowhere local to celebrate, explore, and grow their hobby together.

Our Mission

We're creating more than a retail space - we're building a destination where play, work, and learning intersect. DuBrick serves as a community hub that celebrates the intersection of creativity, problem-solving, and joy that LEGO represents.

Our mission extends beyond selling bricks. We're committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals and those with disabilities, providing an integrative work environment where everyone can thrive. We believe that when people are motivated and enjoy their tasks, they can accomplish amazing things.
